Dr. Sengoku was an Associate
at McKinsey & Company Inc., serving multiple global and local
pharmaceutical companies across a range of areas including corporate
strategy, R&D, marketing & sales, and organization & process,
with extensive expertise in R&D portfolio management and product
planning. He was also a member of McKinsey’s Global Pharmaceuticals
and Medical Products Practice, actively participating in the Practice
knowledge building activities.

He is also a visiting assistant professor
at University of Tokyo Graduate School of Pharmacology from April
2005, with great focus on pharmaceutical R&D productivity management
and open R&D collaboration architectures.

Dr. Sengoku received his Ph.D.
degree in molecular neurobiology from University of Tokyo Graduate
School of Science.
